Chatbot Framework – Brief Summary High Level Scope The scope of this project is to create a rich messaging interface with support for carousels, cards, buttons and provide it as a library for integration with IOS and Android applications. Demo Video: [login to view URL] · The Application should be provided as a library and should easily integrate with any IOS application · The Chat interface will talk directly to IRA server via REST API calls · The REST API module should be generic and addition of new APIs should be easily achievable · Backend server for chat is not required since the calls will be made directly from device to a server · The UI will follow design language similar to Facebook Messenger and Facebook bots (Refer: Sample image for a Facebook bot) · The UI should provide options for users to include Emojis, pictures and file attachments as part of their message · The Messages screen should be able to display the following formats o Text Messages o Text Messages with clickable buttons o Images o Image/Text Cards o Image/Text Carousel o Buttons · Buttons and cards will have actions – Clicking them will trigger some actions on the UI like Zooming the image, selecting the items in the carousel, etc OR it should trigger some API calls back to the server . Chats to be stored locally in mobile Project Timeline: 2 weeks Scope · Phase 1 will be only IOS app · The API signature, resources, etc is available in the attached document.
