This project will be to build a new iPhone app in Objective-C using native technologies. This app will be the first of several projects; we are looking for a reliable vendor that is interested in an ongoing relationship building multiple projects. For this first project, we are looking for bids in the range of approximately $500-750. Note that the app will not need to support the iPad form factor and will not be a universal app; it only needs to support the iPhone. The app will play videos hosted by YouTube based on JSON file downloaded from a server that includes a list of the videos to show the user. All videos will be hosted by YouTube and should play inside a UIWebView. If a user has already seen a video, it will be skipped. Users will be able to like videos, and share them via Facebook, Email and Twitter. Additional details for design of the application will be provided in a detailed spec. Once you place a bid, we will private message you a copy of the detailed spec which includes details about the user interface, server communication, etc. Feel free to contact us with any questions.

I have worked with you tube video display on ios apps with video id from youtube. My assumption is that the videos ids will be present in the JSON data which we receive from server. The videos can be played using UIWebView or the native playback can also be used for this purpose. The JS script will work well in this case and we can have a really smooth playback no matter which device are we targeting. The sharing feature will also be done and corresponding SDKs could be used for this purpose. Please discuss further with me so that we can come up to an agreement on this.
