Applescript to move .mov files into subfolders based on the filename. Drop a folder of .mov's and move them into subfolders based on the first 6 characters of the filename: Example files: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] and sort into these subfolders: AB ----- AB0010 ------------ [login to view URL] [login to view URL] AC ----- AC0010 ------------ [login to view URL] I would also like it to ignore any .mov's that have _h264 in the filename and leave them in their original locations. Of the folder already exists just move to existing.
