Hi. This is not a canned response. I've done this before, many many times(with Openswan and FreeS/WAN in the really distant past :). I have 20 years of Linux experience, so I've been doing this for a long time. I've deployed Linux firewalls with iptables for different network topologies, from VPNs, ISP routers, network servers to embedded devices. Hola, tengo la seguridad de realizar con éxito esta tareas, estas últimas semanas he estado trabajando con ipsec en pfsense, strongswan y el gateway cisco rv 120w. La clave del éxito es que los parámetros de la fase uno de autenticación y la fase 2 de encriptación de cabezera sea idénticos en ambos extremos de la conexión. Ayuda mucho en tu caso que en manejas ambos extremos de la conexión y tienes el poder de modificar la configuración ipsec en lado local y el lado remoto

Dear Sirs: I just need the following information to start configuration: - IKE phase 1 encryption algorithm (3des,AES, MD5, etc) - IKE phase 2 encryption algorithm (3des, AES, md5, etc) - Site A (linode site) IP address and subnets - Site B (ASA site) IP address and subnets - And PSK (the secret) I assume that Openswan is installed, just you need the correct configuration.
