Query a Firebase Firestore database using the Cloud Firestore REST API

I'm a programmer myself, however I'm struggling with this portion of a project I'm working on and I'd rather not continue struggling with the Firebase documentation and just get this done. I have a Firestore database using Google's Firebase platform, and I need to periodically query that database using the Cloud Firestore REST API. This requires a so-called separate "service account". More info here: [login to view URL] The fields I need to query in the Firestore database are structured as follows: users > uid > uploaded-files > file > filename `users` is the root collection `uid` is a document and a random string `uploaded-files` is a collection `file` is a document and a random string `filename` is a field belonging to `file` I need is a script in node/javascript that will query this database and return the filename of every file in the database.
