Need to Create a Simple Adobe After Effects Extension Plugin

I create after effects templates for my customers, There are customers who buy my templates frequently but it is difficult for them to choose between the other templates. They will have to open each and every template and preview them in after effects. This will slow down the whole workflow, So I need a extension plugin to display the video preview of each of the project file. When the customer double click that name in that list in after effects. That project must get imported into the current active comp timeline This is the basic requirement. I will explain in detail if you are interested. I have attached the sample reference for the UI.
