Modbus (RS485) - Controlling Servo/Stepper motor with RaspberryPi -- 3

Hi, I am a senior Java, Python and embedded software developer. I have raspberry pi 2 b+ board for development.

I have 13 years experience in Java and C++. My friend is 12 years of experience in C/C++. Both are working in Controller development couple of years. Last project we have added Modbus protocol support to one of our Controller. hope you understand and assign this project to us.

Hello. I'm working with pi about 2 years , and using it for controll stepper drivers in 2 projects In 1th I'm using pi like server to communicate with arduino. Server was written on java, to communicate I used Java-Arduino-Communication-Library, it 's crossplatform lib. In 2th project I used python and modbus protocol. In this time I have pi 3 and pi 2, rs 485 module I can buy in 2 weeks. I have more when 10 step motors and drivers now. Gui can do using javaFx. Prototipe of GUI can realise in 2-3 days. If it's asap work, I think you can connect your pi to your com port, and I can try work with it remotely.
