Interactive e-catalogue that runs local on iPad + Android. Can be coded in Objective C, Java, HTML5 or any other language.
We want to convert a paper printed handbook to a digital iPad app and Android Tablet (different screen sizes). This is not a reading book that you read from A to Z, but a reference handbook where you look for a text. So, there are no next and previous page functions.
We deliver the text files. We need your help to build the display app, not to build the actual text. The text files are encoded with a simple algorithm, to avoid the user from distributing the book (intellectual properties) without paying for the app.
All files are stored on the user machine, there is no internet connection, except for file updates.
The app should also restrict that the user can copy text from the screen, such as with right-mouse click or CTRL-C.
However, the user must be able to markup the text and add private notes, images or a link to another file or website.
See manual and sample text in annex.
We pay an extra bonus of 250 USD if you deliver the iPad app in 30 days, and the Android app in 45 days.
You must deliver the iPad app "fully ready for upload to apple store". This project is completed successful when Apple Store accepts your app.
