We have an natively developed iOS app (with in-app purchase) in the App Store which wasn't updated/touched since Jan 2017 and is developed in Swift v1. As we have an UI issue under iOS v15 now we need the app to be migrated so we can open and successfully build the app in the Xcode v12.5.1. The app itself is nothing fancy. It's basically an instructions manual with ~100 pages with text and images on them. Some value inputs by the user using spinners. Mathematical calculations are in it as well. There are three main tasks to do: 1. Get the old source code migrated for Xcode v12 so it compiles successfully. 2. Migrate/change/correct any broken functionality compared to the current app. For example: The current app supports swipe gestures. If, after the migration, swiping is not working propertly anymore it has to be fixed. 3. The app must be ready to be uploaded to the App Store. Apple review must accept the update. If they reject the update of the app due to technical reasons (i.e. billing library is not up to date) you have to fix that. If the reason is about content its not your concern of course. Be aware that the examples in 2. & 3. (swipe & billing) are just random examples. We don't know what will break during migration or which updates Apple forced on apps since 2017. But you as a long year Swift developer knows for sure and can calculate it into your proposal. Finally: Rebuilding the app (from scratch) is explicitly _NOT_ wanted as the current source code is proven and tested over many years and without bugs.
