Correct a custom form that submits to Google Spreadshets

Hello, I have attempted to create a custom form that will submit to a Google drive spreadsheet. The good news is it works perfectly in Chrome, but it will not work in explorer. This is likely a case partly of browser wars and some versions of explorer not using the latest javascript functions available. If you can get this to work cross browser and improve the experience, i'd be very happy. If you might need access to the drive account as well, which I can provide in a separate email.
