I'm interested in seeing how category theory can be applied to models of concurrency in order to understand the relationships between the different concurrency models. I'm a novice at category theory and haskell, so I've been going through these 2 books (pdfs available):
1. Category Theory - Steve Awodey ([login to view URL])
2. Models of Concurrency ([login to view URL])
I'm looking for someone to tutor me on category theory on an on-going basis via these 2 books. I'm 20% through the category theory book.
I am not well versed with Category theory. I have read only the basics. But given the books that we must follow, I think I would be able to understand things and may help you. I would be happy to do this with minimal money. :) Because I will also learn in the process. And I have started a local Haskell group at my college. This would help me help people with Category Theory too. :) Thank you for inviting me to bid. :)
