Here's how it works: If you are a designer, we would like to work with you to turn your product designs into a regular income. It couldn’t be simpler – You provide the product design, we will market it, sell it, get it made, deliver it to the customer, provide the aftercare. You stick to what you’re good at – designing in your own unique style... And we’ll stick to what we’re good at – marketing, selling, quality engineering and fabrication and exceptional customer service. Your Reward Every time we sell one of your designs, you will receive a 5% commission. Here’s a real-world example of what you could expect to earn from one product design that sells well… In an average month we sell 6 Komodo dining tables, at an average price of £4,500. If you had designed this table your average commission every month would be £1350. Add to this the sales of Komodo benches, coffee tables, sideboards, and side tables, if you had designed the whole range, your commission would be substantially more. Once a design is on the site, it’s generating income for you while you sleep. We’ll do everything we can to get your work in front of the right eyeballs to suit the style of your products. But That’s Not All As we do with our own designs, you can design your name /signature/logo in every piece so that every view, every like, every share is raising awareness of your personal profile and the demand for your work outside of Abacus. The more designs we collaborate on, the more ammunition we have to build your profile on our site, exhibiting your name and designs to the 1000’s of visitors to our website every month. And as Abacus expands outside the UK, your designs and the awareness of your name as a designer expands with us. This is a collaboration between us and you. We will market your products clearly as being designed by you, brought to the customer by us, which means your designs have your name and are backed by the trust we have built over the last 8 years and continue to build every month. Instead of the headache of you running your own business and all the stresses that come with a regular project, you get to just do what you love – designing and being creative. We’ll do the rest to turn your work into your income. If we approve your design, once the product is live on the site, you never need to touch it again. And there is no limit to the number of designs you can sell with us. In fact, the bigger your collection the better. What You Need To Do We are a table brand. So the products that our website visitors are looking for right now are individual pieces or sets that include: • Dining tables • Coffee tables • Desks • Sideboards & Cabinets • Console tables • Side / End / Lamp tables …or any other type of table you can think of. There are no restrictions on the product’s shape or purpose. It can be for the dining room, kitchen, lounge, office, any workspace, any commercial setting such as coffee shops, hotels or restaurants… When you submit a design, tell us about it – what inspired it, why you have chosen any particular materials, any specific problems or desires that it solves. AND give it a name.
