This is not the short-term project. We need a professional for a long-term work.
This can provide a stable source of income to you.
We have PDF files to OCR. They are Technical documents with complex tables,
formulas, drawings, graphs. Documents contain special mathematical characters,
required to OCR.
Languages: English, Russian/Cyrillic, other.
TO QUALIFY TO THIS WORK :
- you need to have 2+ years of INTENSIVE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE in ABBYY
Finereader or a similar software. "Professional" does not mean doing OCR for your
student reports. ;-)
- you need to have experience in MathType / Microsoft Equation Editor (formula
typing) or similar.
- you need to be used to paying attention to details: Small characters,
formatting, formula, small mistakes, spellchecks, proofreading, etc.
Any DTP or editing/proofreading experience is a plus.
Knowledge of Russian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Bulgarian/Macedonian and other
Cyrillic/Slavic languages is not a must, but a plus.
QUALITY: WE CHECK ALL OCR WORK. Sloppy work is not accepted.
PAYMENT TERMS: We pay good market rates, per 1 page or 1 character. The more you
complete, the more you make money.
