I am producing a new immersive theatre experience called TOUCH in Los Angeles this Fall and am in need of someone to design a logo/emblem relative to the show's subject matter that will be used for promotional materials/social media/web site, etc. Show Synopsis: In a dystopian not too distant future, all physical human touch is controlled and regulated by the government. It is a system built upon fear and extremism. Couples must schedule 'intimacy sessions' before physical contact is made. All physical human contact unapproved by the Party, as registered by 'skindicators,' is a capital offense. Citizens are provided 'social credit scores' that dictate their ability to work, buy property, even whether or not they are allowed to have children. Capital punishment is based on the senses. Commit a crime strong enough, any sense - taste, smell, sight, hearing, touch - could be in jeopardy of being removed. Permanently. A mysterious group known as the Body Electric dares to challenge such a system, and in doing so, seeks to rediscover and embrace the very essence of humanity and connection. TOUCH is a multi-sensory immersive theatrical experience that will take participants on a journey of exploration and remind them just exactly what it really means to be human. I need someone to create the emblem of The Body Electric. I'm very open to concept/style ideas. Currently, I'm thinking something minimalist, potentially abstract. Maybe somewhat mysterious. Nothing too clean or corporate. More like the type of thing one could find spray painted in an alley, or stamped on a card or tattooed on skin. A method of communication signaling membership in The Body Electric. The V For Vendetta logo, the Screen Gems logo, and the Airbnb logo are a few examples of a minimalist yet effective approach I like, but I am very open to ideas.
