Hi there,
This is Bogdan from Romania.
I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too).
I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc.
I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch.
1 - in the first place you will need to have the 3d models of the gratings made (as per the attached pics, there are linear ones and square one...). depending on the models, the technology could vary a bit or a lot...
2 - besides the feed conveyors, storage and handling equipment, the machinery is the usually progressive type (in the first stage will make the punching and the second stage bending...
3 - when the gratings get out from the machinery, they will require some finishing - even chemical ones, but the best will be vibro-polishing, and also protective foil application to avoid scratching and make the branding...
overall, the process is quite complex and requires a lot of work...
For any more questions we could chat here.
Regards
Bogdan
