Electrical Engineer, Electrical Muscle Stimulation/TENS Device Design

At GEO Design Engineering Services INC we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to consult on one of our projects that involves development of an Electrical Muscle Stimulation device (such as TENS).
GEO is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in designing Electrical Muscle Stimulation devices based on Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) and/or similar electrical therapeutic technologies.
This role will consult (C2C) on a new project based on electrical muscle stimulation technology. The primary responsibilities for this role shall be as follows:
Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial or domestic purposes.
Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing engineering products or projects.
Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, or technical drawings.
Establishing manufacturing or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities.
Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
Qualifications
10+ years’ electrical engineering experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required
Experience designing TENS or similar electrical components
Experience developing systems that can create a high carrier frequencies
Competent in the use of electrical engineering software
Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes
Prototyping experience
Validation experience
Experience with Class II Medical Devices
