Dear Sir or Madam, I am currently working as a researcher at Heriot-Watt University. My duties work is mainly related with development numerical methods for simulating Physical phenomena. However due to the intense intense nature of that kind of simulations I am on daily basis administering A windows and a linux server currently in charge of hosting the entire network in our lab. The network is composed of 24 workstations and several dynamic machines. The servers we use are also running variety of services like SMTP, TFTP, FTP, Remote Desctop, SSH, OpenVPN and more.
