I am building an affordable low-cost smart glass product for the hearing impaired, that's expected to launch on the market in 5-6 months.

The product has gained several media and industry recognition and traction.
For the new prototype, I need an experienced optical system designer or optical engineer to design a very simple optical system for the smart glass.
The smart glass current prototype is under $50, and the next prototype aims to be the same cost. As the electronics and casing costs $30, the BOM for the optical system must be $20 or less.
The current optical mechanism consists of an OLED display, an aspherical convex lens projecting the image of the display and an acrylic sheet acting as a beam splitter to reflect the image into the eye. I need to have a design that projects the image of the display onto a beam splitter so that :
1. The image is projected at infinity so there is no strain on the eye
2. The image is overlayed into the surrounding environment (Augmented Reality) using an appropriate beam splitter or such.
3. The image is perfectly visible in indoor/bright conditions without overpowering the transparency and view of the surrounding environment
Get in touch with me for more details/information. This is a VERY simple and short project for someone with experience in optical systems and designing.
P.S Image attached also has a mirror. The new design SHOULD NOT have mirror. Instead, it should have small Focal length lens only.
