Transfer data from ecommerce site in ASP to a new ecommerce site in woocommerce WordPress

Old - live website is in ASP, and has a series of some 2,000 products in categories, sub categories and sub-sub categories.
The web designer says its not possible to take the data from the current asp site and put it into the MySQL database as an import for the new site.
This upsets me immensly; as when he bid for the job on oDesk he said could do a data transfer, its now 3 months late and over budget, I want the data transferred properly and I will lock him out of the site.
I cannot allow for this to happen again so let me make it clear;
To be clear - anyone who bids for this with the idea of doing the edits manually as a 1 by 12 import will be fired no payment sent and poor feedback sent, this must be done as a data transfer from current site to new site. Don't do as my web designer did and say you can do the data as an import, then do manually 1 at a time instead.
The product database and categories and subcategories; its the same details - the only change is that the current live site gives prices before and after VAT, the new site will only give details for uses once they are logged in.
I can give you access to the current site by host and FTP, and then PHPMyAdmin, WordPress and even FTP.
I am NOT interested in anyone who says they can manually do this 1 at a time - 2,000+ products in such a range of categories and subcategories is going to be cause problems.
As you can see from the current site, see attachment, and the new site, a lot of products have been added manually, some are in the wrong place, etc. I would like to wipe this and do a fresh, database to database, transfer.
If any of the subcategories need renaming - they should not - or or similar to make the data transfer work then go for it.
