All I want you to do is fix a function that is overloading my program. It's a 64 bit Windows Console program. I tried threading the function, and it works better than before, but it still overloads the thread after a couple of seconds. It's a big file, but I'll tell you exactly where the function is located.

From description it's not easy to understand in which point of the code could be a problem, but if you use a single parsed file by two or more thread can be a serailization in I/O expecially if you perform read/write operations. How large is the file (1 GB, 10 GB, ...)?
