build and develop an event management web app

Event management web application which permits attendees to register and pay for events using secure PayPal. Applicants will receive a confirmatory email. The application facilitates the management of multiple events occurring simultaneously in one venue. Technologies Used// ASP.NET, C#, SQL database, Visual Studio 2015 IDE, Microsoft Azure, APIs (Google Maps, Google Calendar, PayPal and Facebook). • The web app should allow sign-up and login of users (Forgot password ) • The web app should allow alternative login of user with Google account and Facebook • The web app should allow users’ registration for events or sub-events • The web app administrator should be able to create new main or master events/sub-events • The web app administrator should be able to register new users of the web app • The web app administrator should be able to create data fields(SQL tables with: name, address, email, maybe Facebook account) • The web app should allow to define timetables for events • The web app administrator should be able to define locations of the events and subevents • The web app should have a functionality to entry payments through PayPal (PayPal payment ) • The web app should have a link to Facebook, in order to advertise the event or show on that website • The web app should have a function which will allow administrator to get emails from the users about the app’s bugs found, troubleshooting within the app and feedbacks. • The web app should have features to book the best offers for the hotels, accommodations close to the event, taxi, flights, exhibition floor space booking, parking, catering and event security. At least the taxi API ! • The web app should have a feature to generate, read and input the data into the app’s database. > QR code generation for entry ticket for that event which includes the payment of the ticket. • The web app should display a list of to the events; an event calendar or list • The web app should have features to calculate cost estimates or budgeting for the event and scheduling features. If it is possible ? Nice to have ! • The web app should have view and search functionalities for events • The web app should have a feature to send mass emails to users registered to one specific event or subevent in case of changing of locations or cancelling the subevent or event • The web app should contain business automation processes or at least 1 business automation process. >> taxi API • Business process automation idea can be: The app user creates an event, this will automatically plug into the taxi API, hotel booking API, flight API, catering API through an interface to book the taxi, hotel room, flight or catering. We need to code just the interface for the API ! So, the API call method and link with the app. • If an event or subevent is cancelled, the web app should inform all registered users to that event/subevent about the cancellation, sending emails to them through an email API (Outlook, Google, etc). • The web app should create a custom timetable for each user depending on which subevent he has registered to. • The web app should have a blog which is assigned to a master event and this is automatically forwarded to the event’s Facebook page. • The web app must include a mashups of APIs such as Google Maps/OpenStreetMap, Google Calendar, PayPal and Facebook. • The web app should show the location of the master and subevents with the help of the Google Maps/OpenStreetMap API • The web app should have an AI part > nice to have ! • > ideas: 1. Routing information from Google Maps API: If a user first visits a sub-event in location A, then one in location B, then one in C, the distance between the locations can be calculated. Thus, the user knows the distance he has to walk that day. or 2. Mapping of locations to sub-events in parallel depending on the number of users wanting to attend them: If 100 users registered to sub-event A and only 50 to sub-event B, the sub-event A should be mapped to the larger location. or • 3. Implementation of a speech API (Google, Cortana, etc) in my project in order to search for a location through voice command. In the chrome browser…> command > take me to some place or show me some place > open map, > put the marker on. • Take the street name or/and the place out from the json string. The place name is in parameters…. Take out the latitude and longitude and show the place. Generate call on URL. • From Open Street/Google maps API, find the latitude and longitude.
