I need a C++ function written (to be incorporated into to an existing application) that will query Windows WMI and determine if the hard drive is protected by bitlocker. It's the GetProtectionStatus method of the Win32_EncryptableVolume class. Docs are here: [login to view URL](v=vs.85).aspx A function callable from a simple Windows console app that returns the bitlocker status of the drives (or prints it using cout) is perfect.

I can create function, which will check local HD by Drive Letter. bool GetHDStatus(char DriveLetter). Stay tuned, I'm still working on this proposal.
