I am with a small start-up in the US. We're launching a community website that aims to help US doctors and their office managers improve and grow the business side of their practice. We are targeting solo practices to small to mid size group practices in the US. Our market is NOT super large group practices or hospitals. Think more independent medical practices in specialty areas of medicine somewhat immune to US health system consolidation, i.e. optometry, dermatology, vein practices, plastic surgery, dental, ortho, vets, etc. All articles will be written in English. We require English fluency and familiarity with American English prose. Must be advanced in English grammar, syntax, and understand the mechanics of crisp and clean copy. The site will publish a variety of topics related to business and practice management. We will publish generic articles that could benefit ALL medical practices, but also publish articles specific to optometry and ophthalmology practices. We are starting in vision care at first, and then launching additional specialties over time. We need articles related to the business/practice management side of medical practice . We will have marketing, digital marketing, SEO, legal, administration, and human resources, etc. We want a conversational tone, but for these readers the articles have to be on point, cross referenced, and provide actionable material. Topics can be light as how to maximize your yelp reviews or boost your website's SEO, how to hire a web developer or how to correct your address in google places, but we will also heavier, in-depth articles related to HIPPA compliance, reimbursements, revenue cycle management, collections/hiring/firing, electronic medical records, etc. No plagiarism or article recyclers, please. We are interested in developing long term relationships with quality writers that believe in what we're doing. I am looking to build an arsenal of freelancer writers to fill in the gaps between our own content development and the crowd sourced content that our community will provide. I am considering medical professionals, optometrists/ophthalmologists, medical writers, business writers, and content producers who can produce quality articles at a good price. We are price sensitive as we are a start-up ramping up the business, but we're looking for a long term relationship. I put a generic amount into budget.
