Hey, As of what i can understand from your description, you want a kind of RFID based attendance system with Arduino. I have worked on the similar project with 8051 and i have worked on Arduino projects. First, you will have to tell me which Arduino you want to use ?, If you want the one with RTC in-built, then there is no need to have too many extra parts except RFID reader and Arduino itself. I can provide you proteus simulation if you want to use Arduino UNO, otherwise, it would be difficult to include other boards on Proteus. The system will have Hardware scanning the cards and storing the time. Based on your requirement, for storing data on PC, i can design a vb.net software for you, which will display all the attendance data on a text file, which you can store into you PC.
