Hello, Arduino does not have a clock, so you will need an RTC. Also we have to determine the nm of the IR leds you need. Do you have a scope or something? 2 options are to build a receiver or use stock codes until one works.

Hi, I have a long experience with Hardware and software product design. I have completed many projects on freelancer itself using Arduino. Can you please let me know which is the TV you are using. As you know different devices have different remote controls protocols. Based on the device you are using I can create a software to emulate the IR Remote control and play out based on time set. One option to execute the project is, based on teh remote used by you, I can write program and wire Arduino and test it here. Then send you the wiring details and code. Hi, It's not a hard work, I think the important part of this project is gathering the commands for TVs. We can record commands and get IR protocol using an IR sensor. After that send commands using that protocol.

I have recently been working on an arduino IR project for remote control code input from remotes to control functions on windows such as moving the mouse with the remote and turning the volume up or down ect. I have some experience with IR and i'm sure we can sort something out to your liking. I will require the model numbers of the TVs that are being used, if they are different, that is. It is also important to ask, where is the USB going to be plugged, the TV or external? I will start by designing a bill of materials for the parts required, followed by a schematic and easy to read layout for hooking up the parts to your Arduino. After this is done, and you approve the layout, or request changes, or need questions answered, I will begin work on the code, and deliver it to you the next day, along with additional documentation. I will remain in contact for a few weeks/months afterwards making any changes, and fixing any bugs. If additional features are requested, I may request a small compensation, based on what is being requested.

I have more than 9 years of experience in embedded systems. I have worked on many RTOS, Linux, Android. Have very good exposure in hardware designing and schematic review. I have worked on Car IVI systems which have IR remote control. I have done the microcontroller programming to decode the IR remote commands.
