Find an Accountant

We are a small hotel that uses Quick Books Online for multiple classes (hotel, restaurant plus others). We require a QBO pro bookkeeper or accounting, preferably with experience in the hotel industry and familiar with generally accepted Canadian tax and accounting practices. Familiarity with how to deal with hotel sales, Groupon payment vouchers etc. We are looking for a reasonably priced outsourced solution on a fixed monthly basis on completion of an agreed upon task list. Our documents are scanned into dropbox folders every second day. We require initially: 1. Look over books and chart of accounts for month of January and ensure that entries have been made correctly. Make any changes needed to chart of accounts. 2. Add some additional entries for January that were missed. 3. Match and reconcile to connected bank accounts. We require for February and ongoing. 1. Input of daily sales sheets for hotel, restaurant, catering. 2. Input of expenses- scanned every second weekday. 3. Reconcile with connected bank accounts. 4. Provide accurate reports for GST, PST (monthly), WCB (quarterly) and payroll remittance (twice monthly). 5. Payroll from provided timesheet file (excel) including calculation of statutory holiday pay once per month. We also require some clean up of 2014 books. We'll expect attention to these books every second day and conversations via Skype every second day, especially during the early stages. We would like to work directly with the person doing the work, or supervising the work.
