I need a linear, hydrostatic-pressure FEA study that pinpoints the stress distribution and deformation inside a welded steel water container - based around a modified ISO container. The model can be built in ANSYS, Abaqus, SolidWorks Simulation, or any equivalent solver you are comfortable with, SEE PDF FILE ATTACHED and 3D STEP FILE - FULL BREIF ATTACHED Scope • Container geometry, loads and boundary supports will be supplied as STEP once we start. • Use a standard structural-steel grade; list the exact material card you select so I can trace yield strength and modulus back to common databases. Deliverables 1. Native FEA file with a clean, organised tree. 2. PDF report showing: contour plots, maximum Von Mises stress, path plots through critical weld zones and calculated safety factor against yield. 3. Short summary (one page) highlighting any regions that exceed the allowable stress so I can decide on stiffener placement. Deliverables • Mesh independence demonstrated with at least two element-size comparisons. • Convergence verified for reaction forces within 3 %. Description of setup Material properties used. Loads and boundary conditions. Method of including the welds between ribs and wall. Mesh information Pictures of the mesh. Explain element type, size, and quality. Provide a short mesh-sensitivity check on max stress/deflection (two refinements) Results Picture of deformation/deflection plot (scaled view). Picture of stress distribution plot. Table of maximum deflection values. Table of maximum stress values compared to yield strength. Conclusions Confirm if deflections are acceptable.
