Note: Generic bids that give no indication of the requirements being read will be ignored - thanks. Upgrading Woocommerce, and Wordpress to the latest versions seems to cause my website [login to view URL] to crash and stop working. I have to recover from backups and not update to the latest versions. Also updating to the latest version of Storefront theme causes custom features to be lost. These custom changes may be the cause of the problem I don't know? The custom changes was made by another developer, so I don't know the exact changes. There are two tasks I want to be done; 1) a) Identify the custom changes made to the Storefront Theme. Perhaps use a file compare? b) Setup the custom changes made to the Storefront theme to a Child Theme so the Storefront them can be updated without loss of these changes. This should be done as per: [login to view URL] 2) Setup a working mirror development site of the existing site using WP Clone and backups. This is so upgrading woocommerce, wordpress and themes and plugins can be verified and tested without the risk of killing the main site. 3) Update dev site to latest versions and verify all is functional. This project is not urgent. Through work is preferred over urgency. An Wordpress admin login, and Hosting Control Panel will be provided. WordPress: version 4.4.4 WooCommerce: version 2.5.5 Storefront: version 1.6.1

Hello, It's great to read your job requirements and you explain very well. Yes exactly, We should first need to identify the changes made in storefront theme and add theme into child theme. This is what i will do first. I will find all the changes made in the theme but you may also need to let me know what additional functionality your previous developer added. I will find the code for that functions and add them into child theme. Of-course i should work on my local server then upload into your dev server then we complete the work before upload into live. You will keep this dev one for feature updates.
