CyberMatrix Point Of Sale 3 Software Testing We are interested in having our CyberMatrix Point Of Sale v3 software tested for software defects and user interface flaws. Note that if a defect occurs in several screens or functions this should be considered one defect. Serious defects as judged by us will receive at least an additional $3 per defect. A serious defect is for example, a crash (in our code not a 3rd party component) or an infinite loop. You should provide a list detailing each problem. If necessary, include screen shots and steps to reproduce the problems. Each day of testing you will submit the defects found. We will attempt to correct them for the next days testing. Ideally a spreadsheet would be used to allow comments from buyer and tester. You should not explicitly test the Data manager but if you encounter problems relating to the Data manager during your testing you can document them. You should not test the Microsoft HTMLHelp system but you can document help file documentation flaws. You should not test the report designer (custom report tool) or report engine though you can document other reporting defects. You can test the credit card processing features using our MerchantWare account details but do not document any problems with the MerchantWare system as this is completely beyond our control. Several defects in the attached file are known and cannot be fixed at this time. Please do not document them. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). 2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project. ## Platform at least Windows XP but preferably Vista or Windows 7.
