Android OS Developer

My company is building a web enabled, wireless radio alarm clock. The clock will be built on the Android OS with a single touch resistive touch screen interface, wifi connectivity, voice activated, camera, accelerometer, etc that can run all different kinds of applications and that is able to drive external hardware. Do you have the skill set to go into the code base of Android and modify it and add new components/functionality to support hardware that we want added to our device? If yes, then I would like to hear from you.
