**Create a directory of songs** **Overview** St Marys Singers have a library of recordings they would like to post in a directory on their website at http://www.stmaryssingers.com. There are 2217 sound tracks categorized in 338 folders. This job is to build that directory in HTML pages (not a CMS). ## Deliverables **Review** You can review the files needing categorising at<[login to view URL]> You will not be able to completely automate this process, because the filenames of the songs are not always convenient to read. For example, if you look at the works of Byrd at<[login to view URL]>, you will see that his song 'Ave Verum' is named aveverum. Most of the actually music is conveniently named with the same format. So in <[login to view URL]> you'll see the obvious reference to the Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass parts. SATB refers to 'All Voices'. However in some folders like<[login to view URL]> you will see this Mass is actually in 5 parts; Agnus, Benedictus, Kyrie, Sanctus, Gloria and each song has 4 voice parts. In a few cases like <[login to view URL]>, you will see these hymns have no composer listed. You will need to search these on the Internet. You will also need to sanity check the names of songs and composers. Take<[login to view URL]>. Here you see a reference to Bach's song 'ohaupt'. This is actually referring to Bach's 'O Haupt voll Blut und Wunden' You face two options; try to automate the process and sanity check it. Or, probably more simply just manually create an estimated 420 webpages. **Brief** Your job is to populate the templates I provide with the content, in HTML. I have started the directory at<[login to view URL]> The top of the directory will be the composers of the music (Handel, Bach, Mozart, etc). The 2nd level will be the songs those composers. If there is only one song recorded my that composer, then do not supply the 2nd level. The 3rd level will be the sound tracks. NOTE: You have to edit the <title> tag as well as the body. You can find inspiration from a similar directory at <[login to view URL]> **FTP Access to the server** I can provide FTP access to the directory to download the files, if required. The size of the files is 3.2Gb.
