Custom Simple Skype Interface

Hi, I have a visually impaired client who needs to use Skype but the screen is too cluttered and the contacts are not big enough etc.. I would like to make a custom interface using the Skype API with the ability to make calls, receive calls, and use the contacts. She doesn't really need video, just voice for the time being. She also doesn't need to be able to edit contacts from this program, we can do it for her in the regular Skype interface. I would possible like the ability to add pictures to the contact list from the new interface, but it's not necessary for the first stage of this project. Is this possible? Thanks, Ed
