COM add-in in C# or VB.Net with some advanced features

**The COM add-in must be:** * written in either **C# or VB.Net** * **"COM registration free"** (see *Registration-Free Activation of COM Components: A Walkthrough* - <[login to view URL]> and *Avoid DLL Hell with Registration-free COM* - <[login to view URL]> and ***Junfeng Zhang's Windows Programming Notes*** - <[login to view URL]>) * built with **"ClickOnce Deployment"** * **"multi-hosted"**, i.e. have a single code base for multiple Microsoft Office 'host' applications, i.e. Word, Excel PowerPoint, Access and (optionally) Outlook. **Functionality:** The attached Excel workbook creates a Custom UI. This is the only functionality required for the COM add-in: the behavior of the Custom UI should be replicated in the COM add-in. Note, however, that the code is *very* badly written; this is not a case of porting a solution from VBA to VB.Net; you will have to start from scratch. For example, * The Let/Get routines come from this site <[login to view URL]>, but have been poorly implemented. * Dropdown controls in the workbook are populated using data from a worksheet, but in the final solution this data will be retrieved from a database. DB retrieval is **not** part of the scope of work for this project. (As you will see, the code for populating the scenario list actual contains errors.) Please let me know if you have any questions.
