I have somewaht an urgeent request, I need a simple excel macro writing, to organise BMX racers into their race order. I need this done by Friday (15 March, 2013) morning European time. It is quite a simple request and probably no more than an hour or 2 work. I have designed the XLS I just need it automating.
Hope you can help
I will come back to you for further work on the xls if you can deliver this within this tight time frame. Maybe another 2-5 hours, but I have yet to specify that work as it it needs some thought.
let me know ASAP please if you can or cannot do this for me
thanks

Description below and my xls and jpg attached
I have an xls workbook
on the first sheet is a list of names and details of that BMX rider.
I will mark each name with an x if they are present for a BMX race.
I want the macro to find all the people with an x mark and copy that row to the second sheet “Dag Rijders”, pasting it in from row 20, this macro is activated by pushing a button the first sheet i.e:
x Hes van Duuk 3-03-07 6 1
x Duinhoven de Sander 20-03-06 6 1
Then I will open sheet Dag Rijders, and I will manually add the number of riders per race in the top table (13 races max ) e.g. so race 101 will have 5 riders, 102 6 riders etc in row E4:14
The second macro (run by pushing the second button on the second sheet) will take the names (3 columns, B, C &D) of the number of riders required (so in my example first five for race 101) and copy them in the “manche” sheet into the race 101 columns BCD, then the macro will read how many riders for the next race and take the next lot (i.e 6 ) and place them in race 102 table in the manches sheet. This will continue till race 113 or if there is blank or zero for the number of racers
i.e:
(this has not pasted well see the attached .jpg screen capture)
Race
101 Race 1 Race2 Race3 Pos 1 Pos 2 Pos 3 Totals
Hes van Duuk 1 5 7 #####
Duinhoven de Sander 3 6 4 0
5 4 6 0
7 3 2 0
2 7 3 0
4 1 8 0
6 8 1 0
8 2 5 0
So all the present riders will be populated into their races and then I can print out the “manches” sheet (the position of the tables in the “manche” sheet is set so it prints correctly on A4 please do not move these
i strongly believe in result which would be most obvious in least time and low budget as i am over 5 year experience what you need for a particular project..
My work in which I transferred a complicated is visual basic.
I have consistently delivered projects on time and under budget, which has earned me the role of team lead on a number of recent projects.
