ACCOUNTING CK REGISTER

Convert a basic language program to [login to view URL] application would be menu driven and very fast to operate using primarily the numeric keypad and the enter key such as in a dos application. The user would be able to post to a check register with shortcuts programmed into the application, avoiding alot of time consuming needless redundent keystrokes found in all accounting programming. Freelancer must be proficient in vb and excel skills listed above and a knowledge of accounting and what is needed for check reconciliations and financial statements. The entire process, which begins with the posting of checks eventually moves forward to other accounting applications. All phases will be done in Excel, beginning with this check register. A brief description of performance: 1-Drop down menu for client name or new client name. 2-Drop down menus for month of work and year of work 3- entry field=Beginning Ck Num 4- entry field= Ending Ck Num 5-Check Number column automatically displays numbers from begin to end 6-prompt begins at lowest number for date(day number only) amount column(no decimal points) payee column( payee and account for that payee for selection) this information will be supplied manually the first month and thereafter taken from previous months data for that client. I will supply freelancer with a common list of account names and account numbers used for all clients. After all checks have been posted 2 printouts needed, 1- listing of all checks for month, 2- listing by account name in account number order showing checks that were charged to that account this month. Request for printing both reports will also initiate saving workbook for that month.
