We need a list of >5,000 sales consultants and sales coaches developed by mid February 2015. This project is NOT just building a spreadsheet of names. We want to get them involved with Sales Mastery magazine through the opt-in process.
Phase 1 of List Building:
1) Follow new sales experts on Twitter from Sales_Mastery account. (have a starter list of ~ 1,000 and can network through influencers from there).
2) Send each expert a direct email (not through Twitter) the "we're now following you" email provided by me. This email provides the opt-in link to build the list. I will supply an email account from salesmasterymag.com. Our email service provider (RackSpace) does not allow more than 250 mass emails total unless they are sent from a bulk email service. I need your help to figure out how we will get the emails sent legitimately.
3) Subscribe to the experts' newsletters from their website (if they have them) using a gmail account I will provide.
Phase 2 of List Building:
We can find additional experts not on Twitter through my LinkedIn account as a next step. I am a member of many big LinkedIn groups for sales professionals and also have influencer connections whose contacts can be mined. From there we will continue the process of sending an email and subscribing to their newsletters.
I am fine with making this project and hourly or project arrangement - your choice.
