We are interesting in a system that measures body motion and heart beat monitoring of a farmworker during working hours (8 hours) on open field. The apparatus would allow us to recognize physical activity and energy expenditure. The methodology we have found and we are following to describe this project is based on 5 accelerometers attached to the body in different parts and a heart beat monitor (it has to be wearable). All sensors are wireless and all the data has to be sent to a server. The server would receive the data from these sensors and transmit it through internet or satellite connection. The final user would access the processed data using software or webpage from a different place of the farmworker.
All the data from the sensors should be access in real time by the final user while occurs the farmworker operation.
