DLL as ODBC interface

This is an odd project. I need data from ODBC-compliant sources that I will analyze in the APL programming language. I don't want to learn ODBC within APL. So, I need a DLL that I can call that will access data via ODBC in the following way: * I call the DLL from within APL. * The DLL (written in any language) will pop open a dialog box. * The Dialog box will have a place to enter the source info. * The DLL will then query the source and present in the Dialog info regarding the data structure. * The Dialog will allow me to select the data to retrieve. * The DLL will then extract the info and copy to the Windows Clipboard (I know this is odd) * Note: I want any DATE info formatted in a certain way before sending to the Clipboard. * Note: I don't care to send any data to ODBC-compliant source, I only want to retrieve data. * Note: The database can exist on the computer or over the internet.
