I am designing mobile apps that will need a backend service layer with an API to communication to. This project will need to: Create a scalable environment on AWS (Django/Python required) Design services for location/checkin services, media posting, user services, social interactions, news feed creation, etc (think Foursquare / Vine / etc) Create APIs for mobile apps to access those services (Tastypie recommended) Create Admin UI with 1 Reporting Dashboard, and 2 admin pages (User Admin and Post Admin) Create documentation on API and software for App/UI team with small demo webpage App development happening in parallel with a different team. Milemarkers are negotiable, but ultimately will be fulfilled by App team's acceptance of API and service functions. You will be provided with PRD with UI Wireframes of App and Admin UI. Hello! I've already submitted a bid to the iPhone part of this project (https://www.freelancer.com/projects/Graphic-Design-Mobile-Phone/iPhone-app-Location-Check-Post.html) and decided to submit a bid for server-side of the project: 1. We have several developers available, so we can handle these both works in parallel. 2. We'll resolve all API and integration issues quickly. 3. We have experience with Django/Python, Amazon Web Services (EC2, SDB, S3, Autoscaling, Load Balancing). So I think it will be better and faster to get both these two parts from a single provider.
