Apple Script to sort files in Finder. (repost)

I need script which will sort files into multiple subfolders based on specific criteria found in each file name. Files will be sorted into multiple subfolders based on the closest match between the number of consecutive characters in the file name and folder/subfolder name. I have more detailed instructions for the successful bidder.

It would be great if an apple script could be written for the application "autofiler"
