I have a data feed that I need a PHP code written to read the data.
I have tried to load data from telnet but from PHP/OBJECTIVE C as well as with windows (telnet) I am unable to get response from given credentials. The telnet connection is working on command line only in this case it's not possible to read provided stream from my end. I need a PHP code written to read that stream.
Here is how to get the feed:
A TCP socket connection must be made to server IP/Port [login to view URL]: 2123 and backup [login to view URL]:2123.
The connection requires authentication with a password string AAAX[password], where the password is: (will provide later)
Note that if you're connecting programmatically, a "\r" or "\r\c" are required after the password.
One way to test is to telnet to the IP/port, when connected, enter the password string AAAXperrywx and hit return. I do know that Windows telnet can be problematic for testing this connection - UNIX/LINUX or Mac are usually easier to try.
In this feed I have included cloud-to-ground strokes and time of day messages (every 15 seconds, which help determine if the connection is live). Below is a sample of the lightning data record, including date, time to milliseconds (UTC), latitude, longitude, peak amplitude estimate, and the unit for the amplitude (kAmps). The sign of the amplitude indicates polarity.

Please respond if you can do this quick fix. Thanks.

Hello, I am a Los Angeles based web developer. I believe the login to telnet can be achieved with built-in php functions. After that, parsing the output would be no problem. I would love to give it a try.

Hi! It is interesting work.
As I understand it, you want to get data from some specific weather sensor?
I have experience with similar devices(very old PBXs Multicom F636 and Samsung SKP-56).
Multicom is russian analogue PBX from 1990x:)
I had the task of obtaining records from the PBX via a special protocol(SMDR).
We used SMDR protocol to check the call log through our PBX.
Where will the recorded data stream? In the database or in a file?
If you know a little bit about the protocol of interaction with your sensor,
I could do the job for about 1 day. If needed I can do the job in OOP style.
