Convert articles from html into database info compatible with Mambo CMS. A php program should be able to convert most of the pages into a database without problem.
Articles are always the same:
1. Date and Subject
2. Title
3. 3-4 Line Introduction
4. Author name with email link
5. Body of the article
6. Little bio of the author
Site is a one person project about Brazil. I'm not sure about the number of articles. It should have between 1000 and 1500 pages.
The site can be seen here: [url removed, login to view] - Click on magazine and then backup issues to have an idea how the articles are presented.
To see how the new site might look, you can go to [url removed, login to view]
There is no rush and the work should be done on the background while I continue adding new articles.
I think Mambo is pretty versatile, has a very active community, is an open source. I might consider something else though as long as it is database driven. Among the features that I need to have: comments by the public, way for contributors to place their material by themselves, possibility to use and manage banners and google ads, pages friendly to Google and other web spiders.
