BEFORE YOU BID: You must be a graphic Artist. You must have artistic flair. You are meticulous. You pay a great deal of attention to detail. You have done projects on RAC before. You have samples of your best work that you will show me specifically (Dont ask me to go and look through your portfolio site. You must say something like: Please see this url and this url for 2 examples of my work that will be relevant to the work i will be doing for you, etc etc). You must be able to create your own design by hand (not copy n paste from somewhere else). Every mockup/design you show me (even as part in progress) you will provide the source files (PSD preferred) so that I can modify it quicky to test out any concepts I have. So in you bid, tell me WHY I should hire your over all the other designers? Whats different about you or your designs? Show me some *relevant* designs or concepts that you have personally done previously. Are you a blogger? Whats your blog URL? Experienced Designer with Artistic flair required to design 3 exquisite blog themes or illustrations for a blogging community site. This site is mainly for TEENS and young adults, so please do not use any inappropriate images, revealing clothes or other problematic constructs. The people who will approve the design are very very picky about the image that the theme portrays of their site, so please be neutral. Everything on the site whould match, ie buttons, navigation bars etc, and please do not reuse the elements from one theme to another. It's just not professional. We will ask for MULTIPLE revisions to be made on the designs that you have submitted. The designs have to be in the form of source files, ie PSD, illustrator, FLA etc. I prefer that it be done in Photoshop or Flash. More DETAILs in the attached file. Read ALL of it. ## Deliverables deliverables: a) Original Source files (such as PSD, AI, FLA etc) b) Jpegs of the finished designs c) HTML version of the design, sliced into proper images, backgrounds etc. Must use real HTML text and not photoshop images. CSS styling is an advantage. d) Any other files required to make the source files work - such as fonts, photos etc. e) Full Copyricght to the design etc will belong to me 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Photoshop IE 5.5+ Firefox 1+ No incompatibilities with major browsers on PC or MAC
