This is a C program already working and sends and receives messages using port communications. The project includes the following. There is a client and a server program written already only a few hundred lines. Comments describe it as simple code. The two programs connect via sockets and send 5 or so fields of information and returns one string. There is some error checking. 1) Cleaning up the structure of the C program to have better flow. Have it modular so if I need to just use the socket communication portions, it will be possible to organize it that way, therefore, the main files need to be separated into individual files. 2) Adding configuration files with all proper variables in the configuration file. 3) The configuration file should be simple text identifying the "required variable name" = "value" 4) I would like to expand the code so that 10 strings are sending and received each way. 5) I would like to expand the code so that 10 strings are sending and received each way. 6) There will be good variable names and good programming manners for this project to be completed. 7) The code is already compatible with UNIX gnu and Windows VSC and should remain buildable runable on both. If the above is complete at my satisfaction, this is optional. I would like to add a section that can add an encryption module of some sort, PGP or otherwise on both ends for optional/configurable. Payment would be in 3 separate payments Suggest a bid.
