Database Cloud Install

Hi, I need a strong open source database that will reside on one of my sites in the cloud. Coder must be able to create the necessary instances in amazon cloud. I have the following cloud accounts EC2, S3 and simpleDB. My media and other data is in S3. We, the buyer and seller shall discuss which software package to implement. This db will be used to catalog photographs, books, documents, music and video. The database tables etc. will be customized buy the seller to fit my needs. Input will be done on windows and mac machines. Thus you must have strong knowledge of the amazon cloud and how to use it security. All of the media that the db will pull up will be in S3. I'm not sure what database to use so we will discuss it and I will need to see examples of what your talking about and examples of your database work in regards to cataloging media. Perhaps the open office (OOo-dev) db can be used for on the front end for input? Eventually, parts of this database will be made available on one of my sites so the graphical interface but be clean, user friendly and have strong search features. I'm interested in HSQLDB but do not know if it will meet my requirement. I'm very open to discussion as to the best way to achieve this objective. To be clear, this is an auction to design a database for an open source package that both seller and buyer will decide on. Then make it function in the amazon cloud by creating an Amazon Web Services instance in their cloud computing environment. The successful bidder will arrange for hand off of completed project and describe how they will ensure security of the site after they complete the setup. The install must be able to be secured after the project with no back doors. End users will have no awareness or clues that this runs on Amazon AWS, any more than they know what server a website runs on in any other case. Thanks! ## Deliverables
