The project is to create a Boot Loader that will be ran from PXE/TFTP with specific features.
For my project I need to prove it is possible to have a boot loader load then boot the hard disk boot sectors but remain in memory working. It does not matter what it does as long as it is proven to continue to working.
To prove that the boot loader is working can be done several ways and up to the coder, but I suggest something simple like a sound when a specific key is pressed or renaming a file to the current time every 30 seconds. I know that writting to NTFS without windows would be a difficult task, that is why I leave it to the coder to make a suggestion to what is easier for them.
The features that it must have is:
* Boot from PXE via a TFTP server
* Remain running as a TSR or other method allways
* Boot the hard disk after it starts regardless of what is installed
* Prove that the boot loader is still running and working
* Will have to support a standard normal x86 intel chipset
