**Project Requirements**
1. Create an Access database with forms for setting expected attendance times, for providing a password protected login for each employee, for providing a method of calculating available capacity for each day and displaying this information in a convenient way.
2. This database will supplement the attendance system provided by our MRP system (Jobboss). This is phase one of a multi-phase project which may include tools for reporting booked time for each job operation and for automatically shifting work to groups that have capacity in any given day.
3. JobBoss currently doesn’t provide a secure login in for each employee who will be reporting their time to projects. This supplemental database will add a table of passwords and a login form which will include login button that will time stamp when the employee started, logout/login button for lunch and a logout button for the day. All login and logout data will be stored in a table.
4. JobBoss also doesn’t provide a calendar by group for planning attendance. This supplemental database will add a planning table with employee ID, attendance date, beginning and ending times, and a note field. A form will be provided to edit each date and provide methods for scheduling attendance by repeating patterns (i.e. schedule the same attendance time each day or week). I’m not sure what is the best way to handle the repeating function in the database. Please make a recommendation.
5. The calendar form should include a method for adding holidays and non-work days to the schedule.
6. A form should be provided to show actual employee attendance compared to planned attendance. It should include actual time worked versus planned time worked as well as average minutes late or early.
