Create and design website for local girls charity club

I started a local charity and thought I would have time to create a basic but functional web site to advertise our sponsors and get the word out. I am now back in school and don't have the time to do the work. Last year we raised a nice sum of money for the charity (PACE Center for Girls) so I am hoping that by making a web site it will be even more interesting and grow this coming year. I will add the flyer I created last year, but really we could use a logo and a theme for the charity. Here is the basic deal: I am the captain of my high school lacrosse team. My mom works as a volunteer at the PACE School for at risk girls. I thought that by getting businesses to sponsor our team and raise money, like $1 for each goal the teams scored, we could help PACE. It worked! So this year we want to be even more involved and really make it a long term project. To start that I REALLY need a web site. So I went to [login to view URL] and purchased the URL www.goalforgirlscharity.com. Then I went to [login to view URL] and tried to create a basic web site. That didn't work for me. So I am putting it out to a freelance expert to help us out. I have saved a few babysitting dollars I can use to pay the bill for the web site. I would like to work with someone who is creative, knows how to do build an easy to manipulate website, and can help in a reasonably short period of time. I really do not want to just blog on the site. I want a static nice looking web site. Then later, if it grows, we can add a blog and a way to take donations on line.
