Programming Project Proposal
I am seeking a programmer experienced in html and java who can create an automated ordering system. To be a success the programmer must generate code which I can copy past into the <body> </body> tags of my website.
Functionality:
The user will be given the following 9 shapes to choose from.
The user will click the shape which meets their needs.
The user will be taken to a new page
This page will contain a large depiction of the shape they selected and series of checkboxes with three options
Each side of the shape will have a field next to it where the user can input a custom length example below:
All shapes will be cut out of a square or rectangular sheet of raw material therefore the dimensions the user enters must be totaled to create four sides
After the user enters their dimensions and the dimensions are summed to create a square or rectangular sides an audit must occur which will prompt the user if the total length of the top does not match the total length of the bottom or if the total length of the right side does not match the total length of the left side
The product is priced by the size and type of the raw material sheets it is cut out of
There must be several hidden or disabled buttons which will appear or become enabled if the size of the shape falls within its range and if the customization check boxes mentioned earlier are checked these buttons when pressed will add a standard item to their cart which corresponds with the sheet size and customization options
When the user clicks add to cart button a digital image of the dimensions of the object must be created and must be given a unique number which indentifies it with the their specific order
The ordering site must be a safe third party site like zencart which allows for credit cards and can calculate shipping using a UPS plug in I believe it’s called API
When the user checks out and processes their payment an email detailing the order must be emailed to me with the associated drawing attached or embedded in the email.
