Convert existing personal website to WordPress

You will need to convert an existing personal website to a new WordPress site using a [login to view URL] account I just created. An existing WordPress template such as "twenty eleven" may be used or modified or a new template may be needed. A simple, clean graphic design is important. The existing site is not complicated and has a simple structure but it does have quite a few pages to copy to the new site. We need this new site done by January 15, 2012. We also need to approve the template used before the existing site is converted. The new site design should allow a non-technical person to make future changes such as adding new pages, or editing existing pages. If the project work is completed in a timely manner and meets our quality expectations, we may want to hire you to do additional future work to maintain the site. The website is a personal website for my wife who is a professor at a prominent business school. The site layout does not need to match her business school website but we would like the color schemes to be similar. The existing site consists of a homepage with internal links to about 7 other pages along with a menu bar linked to the following 4 top level pages: 1. "About" page, which includes: a. "Bio", a 1 page biography b. "Curriculum Vitae", a long page with many links to paper abstracts, media mentions, etc. c. Additional links to 9 books she has written. Four of her books have additional pages on her personal site which include the table of contents and a sample chapter or appendix to each of those books. The other 5 books are just externally linked to Amazon.com. 2. "Teaching" A simple page containing several external links to courses she teaches. 3. "Research" A simple page containing a few external links and a link to a page listing her collaborators. 4. "Consulting" A simple page containing some text with 5 links to additional internal pages related to the type of consulting work she does. The existing site also includes a sidebar with cover images and links to 9 of her current books. The existing graphic images may be reused for the new site and a small amount of additional graphic work may be required. The majority of the project work will be creating/using a WordPress template and copying and pasting pages from the existing site to the new site using the template. If you provide the winning bid for this project I will give you the user name and password for the new WordPress [login to view URL] account. To minimize the possibility the existing site "goes down" I do NOT plan to give you the existing site's username/password until we approve the new WordPress site. I will provide the existing site URL and can supply a copy of all the HTML source code and image files for the existing site. It was created using FrontPage 2003.
